What makes this product special
What it is
Salal, also known as Apple Leaf or by its Latin name Gaultheria Shallon, is recognised by its egg-shaped green leaves with serrated edges. It is widely appreciated in the floral industry for its strength, flexibility and natural appearance.
Origin & process
Salal grows wild along the west coast of the United States, particularly in Oregon and Washington, and parts of Canada. It can also be found further south towards Northern California, although weather conditions there influence leaf colour and winter resilience. In some regions the leaves are lighter green, while in others they develop a rich, glossy dark green tone.
